Alexander Graham Bell was born in 1847 in Scotland. He studied at the universities of Edinburgh and London. In 1871, he moved to Boston. There, he worked  at a school for deaf people. In 1874, he  experimented  with the basic idea for the telephone and then in 1876, he transmited  the first complete sentence by telephone. He said: “Watson come here, I want you”. Bell won  he Volta Prize (worth 5O, OOO French Francs) for his invention. He died in 1922 in Canada.
